Automatically generate documentation for SQL Server databases with dbForge Documenter for SQL Server. It includes a lot of options to help you create a comprehensive and professional database documentation.
When installing the app, you will be able to choose between .sql and .ddoc extensions to be associated with the app. You will be also asked, if you wish to generate native images, which will speed up the startup of the app.
Within its clean interface, you will be able to easily find and navigate between the features. You can edit many documentations at once, where each new documenter will be shown in new tab. dbForge Documenter for SQL Server can be also integrated and used directly from SQL Server Management studio interface.
Documentation can easily be customized. You can include cover page with header, logo, project description, author name and other information. You can also add breadcrumbs for easier navigation, and there is also a search functionality included within the generated documentation.
SQL object types, inter-object dependencies, DDL codes, database object information and other meta information can be selectively included in the documentation, and all SQL elements can also have a description. Documentation can be saved in two different formats, in PDF and HTML. You can choose between many output templates, and there are also different Bootstrap themes available for changing the layout.
